Today, upon the request of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation the competent authorities of the Greece Republic are extraditing to Russia a citizen of the Russian Federation Tatyana Blinova. By the investigation bodies she is accused of committing a crime foreseen by part 4 of article 159 (fraud) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case against Blinova is in the execution stage of the Investigative Department under the Department of Internal Affairs for the city of Samara.
It is established that in the period from 2003 to 2004 Blinova, working as an accountant of LLC "A&S" and having at her disposal the seal of the company she carried out various orders of director of the organization as well as Bank payments.
Director of LLC "A&S" being confident in Blinova entrusted her to submit in one of the branches of Sberbank of Russia payment orders with the purpose of transferring of monetary funds from the bank account of the mentioned organization. Blinova forged the signature of director of LLC "AIS" put the seal on the wittingly falsified payment orders and implemented money transfers to the settlement accounts of two organizations and then subsequently converted them into cash. The total amount of the damages exceeded 1, 4 million rubles.
In connection with the fact that Blinova disappeared from the bodies of preliminary investigation in April 2005 she was announced in the Federal search and in June 2006 she was placed into the international wanted list.
In November of 2010 Blinova was detained on the territory of the Hellenic Republic.
In December 2010 the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation sent to the competent authorities of Greece a petition about extradition of Blinova for bringing her to criminal responsibility which was satisfied in April 2011.
Today, accompanied by the employees of the FSIN (Federal Service of Execution of Punishment) of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol, Tatyana Blinova is extradited to Russia.
