Today, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Republic of Poland extradited the citizen of Belarus Victoria Nemchic to Russia.
She is accused of committing a crime provided for by Article 158 (4) (b), Article 33 (3), Article 158 (4) (b), and 158 (2) (c) (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, from 2011 to 2013, Nemchik was stealing property of her friend. At that, with the purpose of concealment of the theft of the diamond ring at the cost of 400 thousand US dollars from the victim’s safe which she had committed before, she incited her accomplices to steal the safe. The criminal actions resulted in the damage to the extent of 25 million rubles.
After she had committed the crimes, Nemchik hid and disposed of the property at her own discretion.
The pretrial investigation authorities put her on the international wanted list.
In May 2018, she was detained in the territory of Poland, and after that the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation sent a request for her extradition with the view of criminal prosecution.
Thanks to the clear and coordinated efforts of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the competent authorities of the Republic of Poland, it was possible to secure a decision on her extradition.
Victoria Nemchic was brought to Moscow accompanied by a special escort.

Citizen of Belarus accused of theft of a diamond ring at a cost of about 16 million rubles was extradited from Poland to Russia
