The competent authorities of the USA has deported national of the Russian Federation Vladimir TRETIAKOV to Russia. He is accused of the crime, stipulated in Art. 30 part 3, Art. 105 part 1 (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, in October 2016, in village Yasnaya Polyana, Tula Region, Mr. TRETIAKOV, with the purpose of murder, shot at his acquaintance no less than eight times, including at his head. However, the victim survived, because timely medical assistance was rendered to him.
After that, the offender escaped from criminal prosecution and in January 2018, he was placed on the international wanted list.
In June 2018, Mr. TRETIAKOV was arrested in the USA.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the competent authorities of the USA on this case and given the evidence submitted by the Russian party, deportation of Mr. TRETIAKOV was granted.
Mr. TRETIAKOV has been transferred to Russian convoyed by officers of the competent authorities of the USA.
Now the criminal case against Mr. TRETIAKOV is pending in the Investigative Division for the town of Schekino of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tula Region.

On deportation of a Russian national, accused of attempted murder, from the USA
